We’ve got a new home for 2025, and we’ve really stepped it up a level with the course we’ve picked for our 2025 finale – The quite simply stunning, Open Championship Qualifier Host and Top 50 Golf Course – Beau Desert Golf Club 🌵
We are so excited for our final’s day in September 2025, where 44 of the finest amateur athletes in the U.K. will battle it out for the ultimate golfing glory – The Springfield Golf Champion 2025 & a nifty little 1st place prize of £2,500.
The beauty of Beau Desert is hard to describe as, with only the occasional passing Stag as a critic of your ability to master the rolling fairways and testing greens, you will enjoy both a sense of isolation and exclusivity as you battle it out against your fellow qualifiers around this stunning heathland venue.
As with all our qualifiers, we are running Longest Drive & Nearest The Pin competitions, as well as our iconic £10,000 Hole-In-One. Expect the usual beers and camera team videoing every shot 🍻
A closer look at Beau Desert G.C
The Course
Beau Desert is a Top 50 course & Open Championship qualifier host! The course is relatively short, but don’t be fooled by its length – it’s extremely well defended by the heather and gorse-lined fairways. At a little over 6,250 yards off the whites, the Par 70 course at Beau Desert is a spectacular venue and will be a challenge for all those fortunate enough to tee it up at our final.
How Do I Qualify?
You can only play in this event if you have qualified throughout the course of the 2025 season. There are two ways in which you can qualify:
1. Finish in the top 5 at any of the 8 qualifier events. Our qualifier events are 2 days, 2 round stableford events which run from April – August, and see us visit every corner of England. There will be a field of around 60 players at each event, so you’ve got a good chance of qualification if you can keep a level head across the two rounds.
2. Via Springfield Golf's Order of Merit (New for 2025). Read more below or head to the OoM page for full details.

New for 2025 and to give chance to those who attend several events, the top 4 golfers on the Springfield Golf Order of Merit (OoM) will also be teeing it up in our final’s day. Full details can be on our OoM page on our website.
