SLALEY HALL
As we enter the latter stages of the series, Qualifier 7 see’s S.G. venture into the land of the Geordies, to the spectacular Slaley Hall Resort in Northumberland. Slaley continues to be described as ‘The Augusta of the North’ due to its sweeping fairways, undulating greens, and its own version of Amen Corner.
Slaley has played host to over 20 European, Asian and PGA Tour Events, and now welcomes the S.G. gang. Slaley will certainly be one of the jewel venues we visit in 2025,with players getting chance to play on both Championship courses on offer at Slaley Hall. Day 1 will be on the Priestman Course, and Day 2 will see the field battle for qualification places on the spectacular Hunting Course.
Commissioners favourite Hole: The 9th. Par 4 – 430 yards.
Commissioners Word of Advice: The greens are undulating, fast and true. It’s rare to find a flat putt at Slaley. Take a two-putt and run.
