Qualifier 4 is held at quite possibly the best venue we’ve ever been to, the breathtaking Players Club in Bristol. One of two Tier 1 venues on the S.G. calendar this season, The Players Club is a pretigeous venue which has become home to many televised professional events due to excellent design and high level of maintenance.
Situated on the outskirts of Bristol on the border of Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, The Players Club boats two 18-hole courses which have both been designed to the highest specifications, boasting USGA greens and immaculate fairways framed by an eclectic blend of woodland and modern links design, with numerous bunkers and lakes coming into play on almost every hole. Day 1 you’ll be taking on The Codrington Course, with Day 2 on the shorter Stranahan.
Springfield Golf have complete exclusivity of the on-site accomodation for the bank holiday weekend at The Players Club, so guests can look forward to a real socialable, laid-back and welcoming vibe at this event – The ideal S.G. mix.
Commissioners favourite Hole: The 3rd. Par 4 – 395 yards.
Commissioners Word of Advice: Pack some beers in the bag for Day 1 – It’s a long course and you might need a cold one in the Bank Holiday sunshine.
