Q6 - HILL VALLEY
We are almost sold out of full weekend tickets for this event but we do have a few locals/day tickets (no-accommodation) available at a reduced rate. Book below or Get In Touch to find out more details!
HILL VALLEY
Qualifier 6 sees us return to the midlands as Hill Valley plays host to the final qualifier in the series. Last year's eventual winner, Joonas Jokinen, came through qualifying at the final chance of asking & carried his form into The Belfry as he stormed to victory. A good omen for Q6 entrants?
Set in the heart of the rolling Shropshire countryside, the Championship Emerald and Sapphire Golf Courses have established Hill Valley as a distinctive world class championship golf venue. The Championship Course meanders through rolling parkland, where players will need to navigate their way through mature trees and various water features. The course is complete with tournament style USGA greens, all with stunning views over the Welsh mountains.
The four-star hotel at Hill Valley has recently undergone a £10 million transformation and is equipped with two bars, a pool, spa and The Borders Restaurant.

The Emerald Championship Course
The flagship course at Hill Valley is a Par 73 & measures 6,714 yards. The course sweeps around beautiful, undulating fairways through natural water hazards and strategically placed bunkers, presenting a real golfing challenge to experienced and mid-level players.
This course provides visitors with a tough challenge and contrasts beautifully with the shorter Sapphire Course. It is named Emerald as a tribute to the eye-catching greens and fairways which are excellently maintained to ensure that they run true all year round.
A real grand-stand finish, the 18th requires a lengthy carry over water off the tee, where positioning is key if you want to have a favourable shot to the green. The approach will once again require golfers to negotiate a water hazard if they want to land safely on the putting surface, where a subtly undulating green presents a test to even the most experienced golfer.
The Sapphire Course
Underestimate the Sapphire Course at your peril! A lower yardage measurement than most, but length is not the Sapphire's defence. Positioning is key if you want to successfully plot your way around this deceptively undulating course.
Situated amidst acres of stunning tranquil gardens, the par 66 Sapphire Course is shorter and more forgiving than The Emerald. However, it does have tricky, tight greens and awkward approach shots making pin-point shot accuracy a must. Key holes including the Par 3 17th surrounded by water.
The Sapphire Course is designed to hone the skills of beginner and veteran golfers in the finer points of the short game.
